Speech-Language Pathologist
Emi is a passionate speech-language pathologist who is dedicated to serving the pediatric population and working with families. Child-centered and play-based therapy is one of the key pieces of her therapy approach. Emi has clinical experience evaluating and treating fluency, voice, apraxia, articulation, pragmatics, gestalt language processing, AAC, and expressive/receptive language. Emi has a passion for music intervention that elicits language and incorporates it into her sessions. Emi received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois. Emi is also a certified Early Intervention Provider. A fun fact about Emi is that she loves musical theater and is also looking for new shows to see in Chicago!
