Monika Solarz COTA
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Monika has always had a passion for working with children, which led her to become a Certified OTA. After graduating from Wright College, she began working in a pediatric clinic which served newborns to 18 year olds. Monika has been providing Early Intervention services since 2015. She specializes in Integrated Listening System, and she has found this intervention extremely effective in assisting children with autism, sensory processing disorder, and motor delays. Monika is interested in feeding challenges and tactile sensitivities. She uses the Get Permission Approach to assist picky eaters to increase their variety of foods. Monika has a strong thirst for knowledge, and can be found frequently listening to educational podcasts as well as attending continuing education classes to enhance her scope of knowledge. Monika is bilingual, and is fluent in both English and Polish. In her spare time, Monika enjoys spending time with her daughter and pet bunny, Pyza.
